Safeguarding

Safeguarding and welfare are our top priority at Forrester Park Golf Club. We are proud to hold SafeGolf accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone.

This isn't just about meeting requirements—it's about fostering a culture where everyone understands their role in making golf enjoyable and accessible for all.

Who is our Club Welfare Officer?

Leo King is Forrester Park's Club Welfare Officer (CWO). Many of you will recognise him around the clubhouse, always ready to offer support and guidance.

While we are confident that serious incidents will be rare, safeguarding is a shared responsibility. By understanding and upholding our guidelines, code of conduct, and agreements, we can all contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for members, professionals, staff, and volunteers. Together, we ensure that everyone can enjoy Forrester Park Golf Club with confidence and peace of mind.

Where can I view Forrester Park's Safeguarding Policies?

Forrester Park Golf Club is committed to ensure that the game of golf is played in a safe environment for all participants, and that children, young people and adults have an enjoyable and positive experience when playing golf.

In ensuring that Forrester Park Golf Club is a safe environment the club has adopted both a Children’s and Young People's Safeguarding Policy as well as an Adult’s Safeguarding Policy, which are both in line with England Golf – SafeGolf Accreditation.
